Villaggio Placido is on the Via Nazionale 153 Taormina Mare Mazzarò, 100 metres away from the Cablecar that goes to downtown Taormina.
How to reach us
BY CAR: Autostrada (highway) A18 Messina/Catania, exit at Taormina and continue towards Taormina mare. The Residence is about 300 meters away from the highway exit, with the entrance located to the left a bit before the square of the cableway station.
BY TRAIN: Train line Messina/Catania/Siracusa, Taormina/Giardini Trainstation. The village is about 3 km from the station, towards Taormina mare (or sea). You can reach the hotel with the bus or take a taxi.
BY PLANE: Vincenzo Bellini International Airport of Catania. The Village is about 55 km away from the airport. Every hour there is a bus service that connects the airport to Taormina and viceversa. Or you can reach the village with a rental car or taxi.
CABLEWAY: The Residence is not only connected to downtown Taormina with the bus service but also with the convenient cableway. In just a few minutes you can reach the downtown area with services departing every 10 minutes from 8.00 a.m. to 1.30 a.m.
